How to find us

Christ Church is on Highland Road, just off of Gipsy Hill behind the old church tower.  Although no longer part of the church, the tower is still a prominent local landmark near the top of Gipsy Hill, between West Dulwich and Crystal Palace.

By train

Gipsy Hill railway station (Zone 3) is only 5 minutes walk away, and is served by trains from Victoria and Clapham Junction to Croydon, Beckenham and London Bridge.  Trains arrive and depart on the hour and half hour on Sundays, and every 15 minutes on Saturdays and during the week.

Please check the latest travel information for service updates, as there are frequently engineering works on the line at weekends.

By bus

The nearest bus route is the 322, which stops on Gipsy Hill and links Crystal Palace with Tulse Hill, Brixton and beyond.  The 432 (from Brixton and Tulse Hill) and 417 (from Clapham and Streatham Hill) stop on nearby Central Hill.  A number of other services terminate at Crystal Palace bus station, which is about 10 minutes walk from the church.

By car

Christ Church is just off Gipsy Hill, which is not far from Crystal Palace Park.  From the South Circular (A205), turn south by West Dulwich station, along Croxted Road, then 1 o'clock up Gipsy Hill at the first roundabout. If approaching from the south/west, note there is a one-way system around the Crystal Palace triangle, and you can't turn left down Gipsy Hill from Central Hill.

There is unrestricted street parking around the church, although this can be quite popular at weekends.

Accessibility

Christ Church is committed to make our worship, activities and buildings as accessible as possible to all in our community.

There is a solid ramp along the front of the Goodliffe Hall which gives direct access to both the lower Goodliffe Hall and the church.   All our spaces have toilet facilities that are accessible for those for whom mobility is a challenge.  There are baby changing facilities in all the toilet areas.

In our main worship space we have recently renewed our loop amplifier which serves the main part of the church.  If you can make use of the loop system, please sit inside the main body of the church and avoid the side aisles.  Our stewards will happily find you a seat in the area served by the loop and please speak to a steward or the sound operator if you have any problems with the loop system.

If you have particular needs when attending church that are not covered in the above, please call the church office on 020 8761 5927, and we will see what we can do to help.
