Christmas Joy
Dear neighbour
The Life-Light blazed
John 1.14
out of the darkness;
the darkness couldn’t put it out.
Christmas is good news in a world of hard news. It is hope in a time of anxiety and lasting joy in an age of distraction.
Why? Because at Christmas, God shows us that we are loved. Eternally, changelessly, powerfully.
The One who created the universe comes close to us, in Jesus, born on Christmas Day.
May this hope and joy meet you today.
