Redevelopment - A three storey development catering for a 1000 people a week

Following the adoption of a three storey proposal from the initial architect’s proposals, the Re-Development Plans have been refined and a Business Plan prepared.

The proposed layout of the new building meets a number of the projects key objectives – unified appearance, access to facilities during meetings from all rooms, disabled access and a number of other objectives relating to space and access, all of which contribute to its role as a hub for the community.

The plans now show the overall appearance of the property and the interior layout. The overview plan in particular shows the profile of the new building and its footprint in the context of the church, and forms appendix 1 3 of the business plan.

The room layouts for the hall have progressed to allow modelling of the hall usage, and although yet to be finalised, these are available as appendix 1 5 (ground floor) and 1 6 (First and second floors) of the proposed new Goodliffe Hall.

The full business plan is now at version 1, and this, with over 30 appendices, will be used to promote and discuss the funding and development of the hall. The complete document with all appendices is available on request from the , although the volume of appendices means these are published in PDF format on a CD.

The Business Plan document is available to download  now and contains full details of the Hall redevelopment and future work programme for the Goodliffe Hall as a centre for community in Gipsy Hill.
