Online Worship and Private Prayer

Whilst our church buildings are closed for public worship, we are maintaining a regular pattern of worship and encouragement through the live streaming of services and regular weekday encouragements from our ministry team. All our online worship can be accessed through the church Facebook page at www.facebook.com/christchurchgipsyhill

Our main Sunday worship is livestreamed at 10.30am, and posted as a video to the page once it is completed.

Morning prayer is led by members of our ministry team at 9.30am on Tuesdays and 8.30am on Thursdays. Compline takes place at 9.00pm on Wednesdays.

Finally we post a ‘thought for the day’ from a member of our church family which is intended as an encouragement and focus on God every weekday around lunchtime.

In light of the changed guidance, we are also now able to open the church for private prayer during the week – the building will be open (through the main doors in Highland Road) between 2 and 4pm on Mondays and 10-12am in the morning on Fridays. Whether or not you normally attend church, you will be welcome to come in to pray, reflect, or simply be quiet in our beautifully simple space.

Please email Jonathan our Vicar on vicar@gipsyhill.org.uk if you would like to know more about the life of our church during lockdown.
